Election Commission likey to announce dates for Bihar poll today at 12:30

Today the Election Commission of India has announced to declare dates for the Bihar State Assembly election at 12:30 pm, this will be the first major state election held amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The election will elect a new 243 member assembly by November 29.

The poll likely will be held in more than one phase as a precautionary measure in the coronavirus pandemic, Many news reports are  claiming that the Bihar poll election will be counted in mid of November

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who leads a coalition with the BJP, will fight for a fourth term in these polls, with the opposition RJD of jailed former Chief Minister Lalu Yadav and the Congress challenging him
