Congress Member of Parliament (MP) from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu on Monday blamed Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal for the current bad image of the state government.

Bittu said that there is anger among MLAs, MPs and activists for not getting funds for development works for three years. It is the responsibility of the Finance Minister to manage the money, but he could not do it in three years.

He said that the finance minister did not want to bring money from his house. Fund raising is by other means. If you have to take a loan of four to five thousand crore for the development of Punjab, then it should be taken.

Meanwhile, Manpreet says that the future generation would be going through debt if the debt keeps rising. But the current young generation also has to be kept alive.

Legislators made promises, till date no funds were received

Bittu said that it is not that the officials do not listen to the Congress leaders, but most of the fury is not to get money for development. The MLAs made promises to the people before the election, even after three years, the finance minister could not provide the funds. Due to this, the credit of Punjab Government is being discounted. The finance minister is responsible for this.
