Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs’ First Job Application Goes Up For Auction

A five decade old hand written and signed job application submitted by Steve Jobs is now up for auction.The single page copy written in 1973 has a set of questions that Jobs has answered with highlights of his experience in“computers and calculators.

Apple co-founder Steve Jobs applied for his first job in 1973 through a handwritten application.Now his job application is going to be auctioned.This one-page job application does not say for which position or company he applied for the job.In 2018, 1,75,000  was raised through the auction.Today, in Indian rupees,it is around Rs 1.27 crore.Charterfield  will list it for auction for one month from February 24 to March 24.

In this application,Steve Jobs has described ‘computer’ and ‘calculator’ as his skills.There is also mention of ‘design’ and ‘technology’. He has written about his special skills in ‘Electronics’ and Digital ‘Technical and Design Engineer’.

The application is believed to have been written after he dropped out of Reed College in Portland, Oregon,” he said.
