AAP government announce to implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Delhi

The Aam Admi Party government in Delhi Monday announced to implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the national capital amid an outbreak of coronavirus also know as COVID-19, which has claimed 7 lives in India with 415 confirmed cases.
Delhi Finances Minister Manish Sisodia today announced in assemble that the state government will implement the centrally sponsored health insurance scheme Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Delhi.
This Yojana remained in news all along 2020 Delhi State Election as Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari always target AAP party for not implementing this scheme for Delhiites.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had in February 2018 rolled out the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The insurance scheme aims to provide an annual health cover Rs 5 Lakh per family for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization. The program aims to benefit 100 million poor households. It is the world’s largest health program.
