Sidhu Moosewala booked under Arms Act for firing AK-47

Trouble seems to be mounting for controversial Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala after he was booked under Section 25 and 30 of the Arms Act. On May 4, Barnala police registered criminal cases against Moosewala and five police personnel, after a video showing the singer shooting a AK-47 at a firing range went viral on social media.

All of them were booked under sections 188 IPC and Section 51 of the Disaster Management Act.

According to SSP Sangrur Sandeep Garg during  the ongoing investigation into the case, it came to light that he had violated the Arms Act and hence he was booked under Sections 25 and 30 of the Act.
